Updating roaming on verizion

Apple (AAPL) on Sunday released a carrier update to the i Phone 5 to prevent the device from using Verizon’s (VZ) cellular network when connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Previously, users had reported some instances where the i Phone 5 was gobbling up data that counted against their monthly bandwidth cap even though they had turned on the phone’s Wi-Fi settings.

Through the original years of AT&T Wireless, Cingular and the New AT&T Wireless, they always offered some of the newest and most high tech phones including Motorola lines (RAZR, KRZR, SLVR) and of course, the Apple i Phone.

AT&T offers a wide variety of standard cell phones and smart phones like Palm and others.

This means a lot of adjustments to which towers cover a specific location, as well as the addition of new towers to handle additional traffic.

Because of this, it's a good idea to update your PRL at least once a month so your phone will always have access to the best coverage available in your area.

In today's technology-driven world, "innovation" has become a basic expectation.

Making machine learning models more precise isn't just about technology; but a reimagination of business structure and the roles of tech and people.

Determining if your organization is an intelligent enterprise or a slow learner may be challenging, but a new index quantifies criteria in terms of data usage, workflow efficiency, and progress toward the Io T.

The carrier update must be installed manually and the phone must be rebooted before the update can take effect.

Apple’s full instructions for installing the update are posted below.
